Parking a motorcycle in an apartment building’s underground car park is not always convenient. Space is limited, manoeuvring can be difficult, and there is always a risk of tipping over or scratching the motorcycle — not to mention inconveniencing your neighbours.
Underground car parks are not completely secure either. They are accessed not only by residents, but also by visitors, couriers and, occasionally, unauthorised persons.
DockIt makes parking simpler and more secure. Ride your motorcycle into the stand, lock the front wheel and rotate the motorcycle towards the wall. It remains upright, compactly parked and securely locked.
Simply ride into DockIt as you would into a conventional motorcycle stand. There is no need to use the side stand, balance the motorcycle or manoeuvre backwards and forwards. The front wheel locks securely into position and holds the motorcycle upright, allowing it to be parked safely even in narrow spaces.
Rotate DockIt by 90° to position the motorcycle parallel to the wall and free up most of the parking space. This allows both a motorcycle and a car to fit within a single parking space — particularly useful in garages, underground car parks and other space-restricted areas.
DockIt makes motorcycle theft extremely difficult. The unit is securely anchored to the concrete floor, while the front wheel is locked using a heavy-duty security mechanism. Its solid, heavy-gauge steel construction prevents the motorcycle from simply being rolled away, lifted or quickly released.
PARK, LOCK & ROTATE
Ride the motorcycle fully into the DockIt stand until the front wheel is securely held in position. Lock the front wheel.
Swing the rear of the motorcycle towards the wall. DockIt’s high-quality castors make this easy.
Once the motorcycle is in the desired position, engage the castor brakes with your foot.
Your motorcycle is now securely parked along the edge of the parking space, leaving enough room for your car.
